Day 2
ROOTING OUT FEAR
“The Lord is with me; I will not be afraid.
What can mere mortals do to me?” — Psalm 118:6
Fear steals your strength by dragging tomorrow’s worries into today’s moments. It blinds you to the work God is doing in you right now and robs you of the grace available in the present. Fear magnifies the problem; faith magnifies the presence of God.
Recognizing fear as a spiritual battle is the first step toward freedom. You cannot defeat it by willpower—but you are not alone. Christ in you is stronger than the fear around you. His grace equips you to face what you cannot fix, and His presence empowers you to overcome what once overwhelmed you.
Today, refuse to let fear lead. God is with you—and that changes everything.
Prayer
Father, fear often rises to distract me, weaken me, and pull my heart away from trusting You. But today I choose faith over fear. Teach me to rely not on my own strength but on Your unfailing Word. Fix my heart on what is eternal, and deliver me from everything that keeps me from fully honoring Christ.
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
