Day 3

PLAN, BUT LET THE LORD LEAD

“In his heart a man plans his course…
but the LORD determines his steps.” — Proverbs 16:9

We often plan our lives—and even our children’s lives—and then ask God to bless what we have already decided. But Scripture reminds us that true peace and progress come when we allow God to lead, not when we ask Him to follow our plans.

Do not stay where God has put a period. He closed certain doors because He has better ones waiting. Do not grieve over what didn’t work out; God never chooses second best for His children. When you release control, you make room for His perfect guidance—and His perfect timing.

Today, plan with wisdom, but walk with surrender. Let the Lord determine your steps.

Prayer

Father, teach me to hear Your voice and follow Your lead. When my heart fills with anxiety over decisions, give me the peace that surpasses understanding. Clear my thoughts, align my desires with Yours, and guide me by Your Spirit into the path You have prepared.
In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
