Day 1

BLESSED BEFORE THE BATTLE BEGAN

Ephesians 1:3 —“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.”

Before Paul speaks about battles, he speaks about blessings. Before he tells believers what to do, he reminds them of what God has already done.

Your battle did not begin before God’s provision. Long before you encountered today’s challenges, God had already established your spiritual blessings in Christ. Don’t allow what is happening around you to blind you to what you possess in Him.

Notice that Paul says, “hath blessed us.” This is not merely a future promise; it is a present spiritual reality. You may still be waiting for certain answers, but you are not waiting to become blessed in Christ.

Don’t measure your blessings by the battles you face. What God has given you in Christ is greater than what life can take away.

PRAYER:

Father, open my eyes to the riches of Your blessings in Christ. Help me face every battle with confidence in what You have already provided. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
