Day 6
GOD WILL PROVIDE
Key Verse — Genesis 22:14
“And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovah-jireh… In the mount of the LORD it shall be seen.”
Abraham climbed the mountain carrying a problem he could see, while God had already prepared a provision Abraham could not see.
Sometimes God’s provision is already in motion before you even recognize your need.
1. GOD’S PROVISION MAY NOT APPEAR UNTIL YOU REACH THE PLACE OF OBEDIENCE.
The ram was not waiting at Abraham’s house. It was waiting on the mountain God told him to climb.
There are provisions you discover only by continuing to obey God.
You may not see how God will provide from where you are standing—keep walking.
2. GOD DOESN’T ALWAYS PROVIDE WHAT YOU EXPECT—HE PROVIDES WHAT YOU NEED.
Abraham expected to lose something on that mountain. Instead, he discovered another dimension of God:
JEHOVAH-JIREH — THE LORD WILL PROVIDE.
Your responsibility is not to figure out how God will do it. Your responsibility is to trust the One who already sees what you cannot see.
DON’T LET WHAT YOU CANNOT SEE MAKE YOU DOUBT WHAT GOD HAS ALREADY PREPARED.
PRAYER
Lord, I trust You as my Provider. When I cannot see the answer, help me continue walking in faith and obedience. Provide what I need, open the right doors, and teach me to depend on You rather than what I can see. May every provision in my life become another testimony that You are faithful. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
